I was listening to a webinar for a venture I’m involved in, and the topic of being creative in different aspects of life came up. In particular, there was the comment about being creative when trying to generate revenue. I thought about it and came up with a contest involving the ebook. If you don’t know, I have an ebook on this site about braids. Actually, just go to my last post and it’s all explained there. You can get a copy of it for $8, through this link – Untangling Braids – or by going to the products and patterns page on here as well.
So what’s the contest? Well, I have some yarn that I’m willing to give to one lucky person who purchases the ebook. If you’ve already purchased it (Thank You 🙂 ), don’t worry, you’re already in. What I’ll do is randomly select one name from everyone that purchases the book. I will hold the draw in two weeks – May 26 and announce the winner on here. To help with sales, I will add your name for each person that you refer that buys the book. Unfortunately, the only way to track this is to use the honor system. So be sure to tell your friends about it, and if they buy the book, tell them to tell me you sent them. Don’t worry, Karma wins out in the end and knitters are a very honest lot to begin with.
As for the yarn, I haven’t decided yet, but I will make sure the value of it is at least $30 retail. I will ship it to you wherever you may happen to be! Also, everyone that has purchased the book already, and/or purchases it before 6:00 pm Pacific Time tomorrow, you will also get a bonus entry!
