Well, it never really went away, but I say return as this is the second post I’ve done with a slouchie hat in it. The great thing about slouchies is that you don’t have to have a ton of hair to wear them and have them look good on you. I mean, yes, rastahs have been wearing them for ages with their dreads usually hidden by colorful bands of wool, but you don’t have to. Diane is proof of that. This is her wearing one I whipped up on set a few weeks ago.
As you can see, I used two colors in making this slouchy. I also used the two colors as an excuse to use two textures as well. Of course you can do whatever you wish when you make yours as the variations are endless.
You also have quite a few choices when deciding how to finish it – slow or rapid decreases for different types of tops. Here’s how this one turned out …
The other great thing about this is that it can be a great stash buster by using multiple colors. I’ll have to make one like that next time. One last pic of Di to say see ya!
