Merry Christmas …

Well, for those of us in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice has come and gone. That’s a good thing though, because it means that there’s more daylight, which means more natural light to knit by! And in 2 days, it will be Christmas as well. If you haven’t finished your shopping and need a last minute gift, might I suggest the first ever It Takes Balls To Knit Wall Calendar for 2012? If you’re local you can still get it in time to go under the tree! You can order one here – 2012 CALENDAR. It’s a 13 month calendar in 11″ x 17″ format. I’ve been doing posts on here for a little bit now featuring some of the models in the calendar. In this post I’d like to feature a videographer, assistant photographer, and a good friend of mine. Frederique Remy is the owner of Gone West Productions. It is a small video production company located here in Vancouver, and Freddie does a lot of work for smaller sized businesses (like mine) and also for larger television stations as well.

She recently did this video for me on the making of the calendar, and also a little bio. I was very pleased to see the final result, and will be uploading it online shortly. Freddie uses a professional video camera (and sometimes a crew), and also a Rebel DSLR that she uses to shoot still and Hi-Def video. The below video is the one she did for me – in Hi-Def too!

Here is what she looks like when she is not behind the lens. As beautiful as the work she does!

If you’re as impressed with Freddie’s work as I am, she is for sale (her words, not mine). Feel free to contact her through here website here – GONE WEST PRODUCTIONS.

Hugzzz 😎
