Well This is Embarrassing …

So, yeah … I’ve been running a contest for over a week now and my stats tell me that lots of people have viewed the post, yet there are very few who have entered. As a result, the amount of money raised that will be donated to a charity is very small. At this point its under $100. Yes, that’s good news for the few that are in as their odds of winning one of the two sets of needles are much better, but it’s not so great for the charity or non-profit organization that will benefit from it. Maybe I haven’t explained it properly, so as my recourse to begging, I’ll try one more time. I’m also asking that you share a link with this post (or tweet it if you have Twitter – there’s a link at the beginning of the post) to anyone you know who may be interested. They don’t even have to be a knitter as they could always gift the needles or the patterns or help a local charity if they win that prize.

So here’s the scoop – first of all, all proceeds from the pattern and book sales will go to a charity or non-profit organization of the winner’s choosing. This means that you get either a pattern for Angel, the ebook Untangling Cables, or both no matter what, AND a chance to win one of two sets of Interchangeable Circular Needles or the opportunity to benefit a charity of your choice. So yes, you really are a winner no matter what. I currently have a set of Denise ICN’s and a set of Webs ICN’s that are being tested and will be given away after the draw. It’s really that easy. Here’s how the ticket prices are broken down …

If you buy the pattern for Angel at $6, you get 1 ticket

If you buy the ebook Untangling Cables for $10 you get 3 tickets.

If you buy both, you get 5 tickets.

The pattern and ebook can be bought on this site by clicking on the Patterns tab above. The tickets are actual entries into the draw and are not an actual physical item that I will send you. Oh, also, shipping of the needles is covered by me to wherever you are in the world! So there you have it … I can’t make it any easier than that for you. Again, you don’t even have to be a knitter. I have no problem with you gifting either pattern to someone you know who may enjoy it, and the charity prize gives you the opportunity to help out in your community. I thought that would be better than choosing a charity myself.

The Denise Interchangeable Kniting Needlesavailable to be won …

The contest will officially close at midnight on May 31 and I will make the drawings on June 2nd. I’ll finish the review of the Webs ICN in the next post. Last plea, please share this with your friends so we can help a cause in need. Besides, Karma will be good to you if you do!

Hugzzz 😎
