The Show Must Go On ….

It has been a while since my last post and that means there’s a lot to catch up on and get ahead of. So without further delay, let’s jump right in to the first thing on the list! As you may know, I have an online show that I started in October of last year. I made 10 episodes of the show before funding ran out. There’s actually another episode ready to go as well. So I’m writing this post because I need your help.

I’ve started an Indiegogo (crowd funding) campaign to raise $25,000 to continue producing the show. While I am very proud of the previous episodes of the show, it was done on a very limited budget and as a result I wasn’t able to capture the exact essence of what I wanted to portray. This time it will be different. The basis of the show is still the same with three main segments. There will be Knit Skool where we teach a skill or technique and then 2 other segments covering the A – Z (Alpacas to Zauberballs) of knitting. The show will be a little longer this time around and the transitions between the segments will be juicier. There will also be more contests and giveaways – hopefully at least 1 each episode! I’m also working on different and better ways to market the show so that it becomes self sufficient. I have years worth of ideas to shoot for this show and think it’s definitely achievable with your help!

So how exactly can you help? 2 ways. One is with a donation through the crowd funding campaign I’ve started here –

Any donation amount is appreciated, and there are perks for you depending on he amount of your donation. The second way is to help spread the word. There is no better form of advertising than word of mouth. Please spread the word of what I’m trying to do to your friends and ask them to do the same. You can do this through social media and good old fashion talking. If you can share this post link on Facebook with a few good words that would be great. The more people that do this the better as FB doesn’t send everything out to everybody on your list of friends. As a matter of fact, if you have Twitter, or Pinterest, or any other form of social media that will help spread the word, please do so. Your help is greatly appreciated and will be rewarded in the continuation of the show!

I’m looking forward to a great 30 day crowd funding campaign after which time I’ll be shooting more episodes for your enjoyment! I’ll keep you updated on the progress and the estimated release date of the next episode. In that episode we have a special segment on the amazing work of Carol Milne, who knits with glass! Here’s a sample of one of her latest pieces … Your Brain on Knitting

I look forward to continuing the show and bringing you all the information that there is out there in the wonderful world of knitting!

Hugzzz 😎
