This week’s edition of It Takes Balls To Knit – The Show, is a special presentation. There are several reason for this, and I’ll tell you about them here.
The first is that I am leaving Vimeo as a platform to distribute the show. After 2 months and 8 episodes, I am entirely frustrated with a number of things that I have been unable to resolve. If you’ve subscribed to the show, don’t worry, you will still have access to the episodes until the end of the month. That allows you plenty of time to download any that you like and/or re-watch your favorites. The new platform that I will be using also has a subscription basis and the price will be the same – $10/month for a subscription where you get everything we put up in that month, and $3 to view the episodes individually if you prefer. Unlike Vimeo, the subscription will automatically renew every month until you decide to cancel it. New episodes for subscription and individual purchase will be available on the 24th of this month. We’re still putting out new stuff, but it will be free for you to watch until the transition is complete. If you’re just checking in and were planning on subscribing, you can wait until the 24th when you will be able to subscribe for current and past episodes.
Another thing about the new platform is that I’ll know who you are out there watching. Yes, this means you’ll have to sign up for an account, but that’s not with a third party company, it’s basically just putting you on my personal list so i know who you are. You won’t be asked to sign up for any sites and your information won’t be sold or given out. It’s only your name and email so I can contact you and so that the database that tracks users knows who you are. That’s all. I promise.
The other reason for this week’s episode to be a special presentation is because my producer has hijacked the show (being the devilish woman she is) and thought it was time you found out about me and why I’m doing this show. Truth be told, I agree with her and know that this maybe should have been done before this. At any rate, That’s what this week’s episode is – a chat with me – well, me chatting and hopefully you listening. It will give you some insight into what makes me tick and why I think this show is so important for people to watch.
