Well, it’s almost been a week now since VKL Chicago and I’m still buzzing from the experience. To say it was great would be an understatement! I’ve told you about quite a bit that happened but I haven’t really mentioned the Marketplace! There were Two Floors of vendors displaying their ware for purchases. I wish I could have taken a picture of every booth and talked to everyone, but needless to say there wasn’t enough time for me to do that as well as everything I did. I did get to see every booth though.
I can’t possibly report on all of them so I’ll apologize for any that don’t get mentioned here from right now. I really urge you to go to one of these events though as the few pictures I am able to post up here just can’t do it justice. As you know yarn is something that must be seen and felt to truly be appreciated. Maybe in New York I’ll try and take a video? For now though, here are a few pictures showing a very small sampling of what was available …

A new great friend of mine, Tabbetha from Long Island Livestock …with not just llama fiber but lip balm, hand cream and much more …

Pam and her partner of Indian Lake Artisans, designers and manufacturers of hexagonal knitting needles … they’re great and I’m getting some for further testing 😉

Carol and I having a drink and relaxing … finally! Yes, that’s a skein of yarn around my neck … Mallabrigio to test knit for them!! Yeah!!
Wow! I think I need a vacation to recover from that weekend!! Can’t wait for New York!
Hugzzz 😎
