Waves … worn by Rae …

As I was saying in a post a few days back, it’s now fall and the best season for scarves. Why not winter? Well, in the winter scarves are a necessity and you have them bundled up and stuffed in your jacket for extra warmth. In the fall you can still wear a scarf for warmth, but also it can also just be there to look good. Or help make you look even better. This scarf was designed with just that in mind. It’s a multi-function piece that can be worn three ways. You can have it dangling like a regular long scarf …

Or you can button it up and wear it as a cowl like scarf. It can be doubled or tripled depending on your feel that day, as the beautiful Rae shows here.

Waves is made from Eco+ yarn, a 100% Peruvian wool that is incredibly soft, yet also has enough structure to hold its shape. The 7 buttons allow the duality of the scarf, enabling you to button it if you so desire. If you don’t, simply leave it unbuttoned and its a traditional scarf. The wool provides warmth enough to use it on the slopes or a cold winter’s day, yet the practicality of it allows you to throw it on as another layer for a casual autumn stroll.

While it is not very difficult to make, there are a few little tricks to making Waves that will make it a lot easier and give you great results. It’s not in the calendar, but the pattern will be provided as a bonus pattern for those who do purchase it. If you decide not to get the calendar, don’t fret … the pattern will be available shortly.

Hugzzz 😎
