Another Monday marking the start of another week. actually, this is the start of the 27th week of this year, meaning half the year is already gone! Wow – where has the time gone? Well, I’ve moved and will be spending the next week getting organized (lots of work to do) and settled. I am determined to get some knitting done in the next couple of days as well – before I go crazy! On that note, I am going to finish a sweater I designed – Jason – and work on getting some final pictures of it for the pattern. I test fitted it 2 weeks ago on Jason (the person I made it for) and only have the neck to finish. I was actually surprised at how well it came out as there are cables in it yet I did it in a black yarn (Patons Classic Merino) and they still have quite a bit of pop. Here are a few pictures taken with Jason’s iPhone.
Sorry ladies, Jason’s girlfriend prevented me from including his contact information. Yes, that’s the Barrington Braid you see on the sleeve. This pattern will be available for download from this blog early next week. There were a few customizations with the saddle shoulder that I will put in as an option. I will probably make a drop down version for myself so you can see both. I’ll keep you updated on the progress – both of the sweater and the move.
Hugzzz 😎
