Well, it looks like summer is finally here – thank goodness and while that usually means the knitting slows down, it’s nice to say that it’s actually the opposite! I actually find that having longer days allows for some more relaxing knitting outdoors! Speaking of that, a quick aside, tomorrow (Sat June 11) is the first International Yarn Bombing Day AND Knit in Public Day! Hand vs Machine

I love hand knitting. I love the way it feels when the yarn flows over your fingers, the texture of the fibers, and the thought of creating something with a twist of your fingers. Every now and then however, I feel the need to pull out one of my machines and just whip something up.
