Yes, this is a re-post, but I’m sure some of you didn’t see it the first time!<\/p>\n

\u2018Twas the night before Christmas
\nAnd the needles were clicking
\nEven over the chatter you could hear
\nThe tick, tick, tick, ticking<\/p>\n

As it seemed that Santa\u2019s elves
\nHad forgotten a huge list
\nAnd some good boys and girls
\nWere going to be missed<\/p>\n

Now the knitters and crocheters
\nCouldn\u2019t stand idly by
\nAs no one wanted to see anyone
\nWith a tear in their eye<\/p>\n

With patterns from Franklin,
\nMelissa, Jenny,\u00a0 Hugzzz and many more
\nThe crafters\u00a0 purchased fiber
\nFrom their local yarn store<\/p>\n

So now in the house
\nWhen you looked all around
\nKnitted and crocheted goods
\nCould easily be found<\/p>\n

A jumper for Johnny,
\nAnd a matching scarf too,
\nSuzie\u2019s hat was just beautiful
\nTo match her eyes of blue<\/p>\n

It seemed that the night
\nWould be saved after all
\nThanks to all the great hands
\nThat had answered the call<\/p>\n

An urgent message was sent
\nAs the last stitch was done
\nFor Santa and his reindeer
\nTo come on the run<\/p>\n

When the last gift was given
\nAnd he had time to sit
\nSanta gave a chuckle and said
\n\u201cYes it does \u2026 It Takes Balls To Knit\u201d!<\/p>\n
