A couple of years ago, New Stitch A Day developed a 30 Day sweater template and had a 30 day sweater challenge. The concept was completing the seemingly daunting task of knitting a sweater in 30 days! Through doing the challenge what most people discovered was that it wasn’t daunting at all! In fact, it was enjoyable and easily accomplished.<\/p>\n

My friend Zylo is continuing the challenge and has thrown the gauntlet. She is doing Sweater September, where the goal is to knit a sweater in the month of September. Now I know we’re 1\/3 of the way through the month already, but if you haven’t heard about it or started, there’s still time! You can join her group to do this through this link …<\/p>\n

SWEATER SEPTEMBER<\/a><\/p>\n

… and have the support and encouragement of everyone doing this little challenge. I’m doing one as well. As a matter of fact, I’m actually doing 3! Yeah, you see, you don’t have to start and finish a sweater all in September. You can use this as a means of turning a UFO into an FO! I have 2 that I started in late August that will be completed in September, and another one that was started a while ago that I’ll finish as well!<\/p>\n

You can post pictures in Social Media and use the hashtag #sweaterseptember so we can all see what you’re up to – and pass on the love to you and everyone else!<\/p>\n

It would have been done already but I made a HUGE goof. The ribbing on the back is only 8 rows while it’s 10 on the front! I’m grafting in 2 extra rows now and should have it blocked by Saturday! Yeah! I’ll do another post to show how to fix that mistake at another time! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

This is the white version of the pink one that I showed awhile back. That’s will be #2, and I’ll show you #3 when 1 & 2 are finished!<\/p>\n
