Tomorrow we’re back to color work – lots happening there – but today I wanted to take a quick time out to tell of a finished object. Yup, here’s a sweater I finished and delivered!<\/p>\n

I’m happy to say it was exactly what she wanted and I was pleasantly surprised as to how much she liked it. She wanted something similar to the Elementary scarf, but I didn’t want to make a whole bunch of strips and then braid them and try to make them look like a sweater! Soooooo, I used a reversible cable pattern in a 2×2 rib and went from there. I think Deborah Newton would be proud of me as I was very meticulous in the finishing details ( I prepared for it from the very beginning) and the sweater is completely reversible!<\/p>\n

Since this was a special order, I got Heidi from Pepperberry knits to create a specific weight of their scrumptious cashmere in order to get it right! Thanks Heidi – it was perfect! The color matches her eyes perfectly as well! If you’d like to check out Heidi’s stuff, you can do so here –<\/p>\n
