<\/p>\nToday’s Friday Funnies is really a movie review. I am away from my computer and unable to include the pictures\/clips I would like to, but I am able to review the movie. What movie you ask, and why would its review be considered for Friday funnies? Well, that movie is Tangled – the 50th full length animated feature from Disney.<\/p>\n
Tangled is the retelling of the classic fable of Rapunzel, but made contemporary for this generation. As with most of Disney’s recent features, this movie is suitable for everyone in the family. There is definitely some humor in thee for adults or older teens alone, and a lot of fun moments that everyone will enjoy. The reason it’s in here is because there are three references to knitting in the movie. They’re nothing big, but the fact that knitting is shown in the movies is a great thing. One of the clips is very unusual as well – had it been a real life feature I would have auditioned for the part.<\/p>\n
As I said, I am away from my computer so I am unable to provide you with the clips and\/or pictures, but I will update this post as soon as I am able to do so. In the meantime, I would entirely recommend this movie to anyone. When i watched it I saw families there, couples of all ages, and even singles just out to watch. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 (the extra half because of the knitting references). There is an absolutely brilliant number by Donna Murphy playing the evil witch that locks Rapunzel up in the castle called Mama Knows Best. It is fantastic on so many levels I am sure you will enjoy it.<\/p>\n
