Why? Well, during the regular course of my day and some correspondence between me and a special friend of mine I revisited this video on YouTube (it&#8217;s below). I have also been thinking about and talking about Christmas in July. What&#8217;s that you ask? Nothing in particular yet, but we have 9 days to make it something BIG. What I was thinking is if everyone did something &#8220;Christmasy&#8221; on July 25, it would be really great. Then maybe we could start a trend and have 2 Christmases every year. It could be anything &#8211; knit someone a heart to say I \u2665 you, send them a card, tell a random stranger they look nice &#8211; just anything that brings that spirit we have at Christmas into the present in July. I know it would be great if we didn&#8217;t need a gimmick like this to have people treat each other well all the time, but hey, it is what is is. Maybe this will be the start of that change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anyway, when I sent this video link to my friend, I mentioned that I would love to coordinate a FREE WORLD HUGZZZ day as they have done this around the world with varying degrees of success. It would take some planning and 9 days isn&#8217;t a lot of time, but with the help of all of you, Facebook, and Twitter, I am sure we can do it. Can you see what I am thinking? Yup &#8211; Christmas in July with FREE HUGZZZ around the world. How cool would that be? I&#8217;m going to send off an email to JuanMann right after I publish this post. So get ready to give some hugzzz and spread the news to everybody you now. What has this got to do with knitting you ask? Well, every sweater starts with the first stitch, right?
