Ready, Set, Go!

[Translate] We’re off! This is the first day of the start of the VKAL – VIDEO Knit-A-Long. What makes this different from all the other Knit-A-Long’s out there? The VIDEO! This is a little like taking a class or workshop for a knitting technique – in this case Introduction to Double Knitting – but a little more than that as well. Along the way there will be tips and techniques that will not only help you get a great grasp of double knitting (knitting a two-sided  or reversible fabric), but will help you with all your regular knitting projects […]

All you have to do to get in the draw is support the campaign by making a donation. It’s not purely a donation though, as you’ll get a perk depending on the size of your donation. Anything from being recognized on our Close Knit Community wall to actually being in an episode of […]

Willow Yarn Review

[Translate] While I was in Chicago for Vogue Knitting Live (VKL), I met some amazing people. One of them was Claudia from Zealana. If you haven’t heard of this company, you need to follow this link and check them out! ZEALANA. Chances are one or more of their yarns will inspire you and is available at your Local Yarn Store (LYS). I went into a brief description of the company, it’s yarns, and the role opossums play in their development in a previous post. In this one, I’d like to review one of their yarns – Willow. Surprisingly, unlike […]
