Just came across all of your postings. It's a joy to see such style and the passion for such a beautiful scarf like the one Lucy is wearing. I look forward to trying your pattern. Thank you for recognizing and posting.
Happy knitting, c
Tamantha, you're bloody brilliant! After looking at it again (and again and again x10), you're right. This is actually done as a long scarf back and forth in alternating stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch ridges. Since I've finished the first 3 panels, I'll put up that pattern but I'll add a side note or version 2! Thanks for pointing that out!

Hi, I commented earlier about the scarf Lucy Liu was wearing on Elementary after the Super Bowl. It was a braided scarf. I had said I didn't think it was a typical style of ribbing, but more of a dimensional one, where the ribbing forms ridges. I included a link to e-patterns where a Tunisian Crochet scarf done in three sections, then braided, was offered for $3.29. Well,.......... I was just perusing YOUR patterns and came across the scarf called "Waves." It looks JUST like the Lucy Liu one! I think you have it! Maybe hers was felted (or the picture I saved onto my PC got "blurred" ------ ha! (Resembling "felting!") So . . . . . . I'm looking forward to YOUR pattern for it! As I bet many others are as well! Hugzzzzzzz!
Thanks Tracy. The site is going through an overhaul and the e-book should be up later this week. You can send me an email with the details of your original purchase and I'll send another one to you. I'll look for your message on Ravelry!

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the compliments! I no longer have the pattern for the sweater but will be recreating it very soon with my own yarn. Both the yarn and the pattern will be available right here. Look for it in late January!

Jen, thanks for the comment and good luck on the socks. I think the easiest way to get boys interested in knitting is to get some needles in their hands. Once they satrt doingit they'll realize that it's a great activity. It will also help if you can get an older male knitter to help them. Also, praise the benefits on knitting with regards to brain function and manual dexterity - then apply it to sports. Tell them they'll be better athletes as it enables them to control their hands and minds better! Good luck!

Steve,
Just found your blog and I love the cream cabled sweater you are wearing in your blog heading. I would like to know if the pattern is available and what kind of yarn you used. Absolutely a work of art and so masculine.
