Final Closure …

[Translate] Well, after over 20 years of providing buttons for locals and travelers from around the world, Colleen of Button Button, is retiring and looking to sell her store. That time of year ….

[Translate] This is the time of year that most people refer to as the “Dog Days of Summer”. Most knitters don’t think of knitting in the heat (except those in the Southern Hemisphere who are enjoying winter) and I used to be among this group. There are actually lots of great things to knit in the summer to keep you cool, and definitely in the evenings it’s a great time to unwind during those long summer nights. Fall into Inspiration …

[Translate] Fall is arguably the best season of the year for inspiration for knitters. While Spring boasts the color of fresh blossoms, Fall has the color of the leaves as they change color. This isn’t all though, as Fall also brings the desire to knit as the days get cooler and we have the urge to get comfy and warm. This picture of Mud Lake in Northern Wisconsin by Mike Crowley, almost transports you to the water’s edge in an Adirondack chair with a steaming cup of coffee or hot chocolate and your current knitting project! It’s easy to […]
