Well, another night of Oscar has come and gone and with it a few surprises. Congrats to Katherine Bigelow for being the first female director to take home the Oscar and to everyone else that won and/or was nominated. Finished!

Well, I won’t get a gold medal in the knitting Olympics because I have been too distracted by the real thing! Vancouver has a set of rings that are normally blue, but go gold when we win a gold medal. We did that twice today and came within inches of getting a third! Jamaican Pride at the Winter Olympics!

I have recently found out that Jamaica – my birth country – has a freestyle skier competing in the games. So I intend to design and knit a Jamaican Pride sweater for the Knitting Olympics to commemorate this fact.

Any knitter with more than one pair of needles will have more than one project on the go at any one time. If they don’t then you should either hire them to finish projects for you might want to have them checked into a clinic to seek some professional help.
