Dec 052011

Yes, it’s December already … with Christmas just around the corner. As it turns out, December is not just a great month in reality, it’s a great month for the calendar as well. To begin with, December appears in the calendar twice – this year and next. And what better way to start your calendar viewing and end the year than with Dino!

As you can see Dino is one of those ruggedly handsome en who just happens to also be an exceptional bass player! If you’re ever in the area of one of his performances, you should do whatever it takes to check it out. He really is very good, and has 3 cds of his own music out. He has a website that you can access through this link – DINO – where you can see his schedule, purchase his cds, and get more information. Lucky for me Dino is a good friend and was more that willing to help with the calendar. As a matter of fact, we were working together when a lot of the ideas for the shoots came up.

Did you notice the scarf Dino is wearing? It’s a classic herringbone pattern, but the scarf was knit horizontally in order to show the pattern vertically. You’ll see what I mean if you get the calendar as this pattern is included with it. In the future I’ll be playing with the herringbone texture and I might have another one in next year’s calendar too.

Have you gotten your calendar yet? Click on this link to order yours – CALENDAR. Remember, if you order before December 15th, 2011, you get entered into a draw to win an iPad 2! Also, partial proceeds from the sale of the calendars will go towards breast cancer and prostate cancer research. So not only do you get to help a great cause, you get a chance to win an iPad 2, you get a great wall calendar, you get 5 scarf patterns, and you get to see a lot more of Dino! Make sure you get yours today!

  1. Love the herringbone! Am confused though about the calendar, are there 13 photos of different scarves, but only 5 patterns? Where might I see what pattern are included in the calendar? Love your cables.

  2. Lisa, thanks! The herringbone is one of my favorites too. Yes, you’re correct – there are only 5 patterns. I would have been giving away the calendars to give out all the patterns. The others will be made available (some free) on the blog in the near future. As I put up postings of who s in the calendar I will mention which ones are included. So far there have been two,Dino’s Herringbone and the one from the day before – Christi’s Cables. I am certain you will be fully satisfied with the calendar, patterns, and chance to win the iPad2 as well!
